PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I am an attorney. I currently work at the prestigious law firm of Katten, Muchin, Rosenman, where I practice transactional law in commercial finance.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from NIU College of Law in 2020, and while in law school I earned multiple awards and merit scholarships.
I take education very seriously, and believe that a good education is every child's right.
I am a huge proponent of public education. Prior to law school, I received my Bachelors from Framingham State University in Massachusetts, and a certificate in legal studies from the College of DuPage.
Attorney. Mentor. Volunteer.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
I am highly active within the community, and I value service and always try to volunteer and donate to the best of my ability.
I am currently a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee to the School Board, which I’ve been on for two years.
I am on the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Warrenville, which has been a great experience for me to see how people come together to try to make the city a better place.
My sons play travel baseball – my oldest is on the Warrenville Cyclones, and my second son is on the Wheaton Warriors. I am very involved with their teams and am a proud “baseball mom.” Through those teams, we have done volunteer activities with the team, such as Feed My Starving Children. I think it’s important for kids to learn civic responsibility early!
I participate in the NIU College of Law mentorship program. Every year I am paired with a “1L” student and we will meet up several times throughout the year in order for me to mentor them. I have been able to get my last two mentees their first law clerk positions using my connections with area law firms, and I love staying in touch with them and seeing their careers progress. It is very important to me to “give back.” I had a great experience at NIU College of Law, and have had good success in my career as an attorney – accordingly, it’s important that I help the students that come after me.
I am very active in the College of DuPage’s Legal Studies program. I went to COD a number of years ago, prior to law school, and was very happy with the education I received there. Again, I felt it was important for me to give back to the program that helped me along my path, so I regularly volunteer at their events, provide mentorship to their students, and donate.
